Engage students with concepts and technology from real-world labs.
WHO IS NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS?

National Instruments (NI) transforms the way engineers and scientists around the world design, prototype, and deploy systems for test, control, and embedded design applications. Using NI open graphical programming software and modular hardware, customers at more than 30,000 companies annually simplify development, increase productivity, and dramatically reduce time to market. From testing next-generation gaming systems to creating breakthrough medical devices, NI customers continuously develop innovative technologies that impact millions of people.

Since the company’s inception more than 30 years ago, National Instruments has grown from a three-man operation based out of the founders’ homes to a multinational corporation with more than 5,200 employees. As the company continues to grow, the entrepreneurial spirit that led to the creation and early success of NI remains entrenched in the company. At NI, we maintain a fun and innovative corporate culture by recruiting the best and the brightest employees and motivating them in a work hard, play hard environment. Our unique culture has not gone unrecognized; NI has been named a top 100 company to work for in America by FORTUNE magazine for 12 consecutive years.

myDAQ
Extend learning beyond the lab and lecture.

Extend learning beyond the lab and lecture with NI myDAQ, an affordable, student-owned, instrumentaiton and control tool. Students can perform experiments anywhere, anytime for an affordable cost.

NI myDAQ allows a traditional classroom course to incorporate hands-on homework exercises that can be done from a dorm room, coffee shop, or park bench. Students build a deeper understanding of engineering concepts when they Do Engineering through independent experimentation, measurement, and analysis of the real world. Plug and play LabVIEW based software instruments provide immediate access to signals. The oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform generator, digital multimeter, power supplies, digital input, digital output, bode analyzer, dynamic signal analyzer, and programmable LabVIEW interface allow students to perform many laboratory-style experiments anywhere, anytime.

When combined with LabVIEW, NI myDAQ creates a hands-on learning solution for the core concepts in engineering curricula, including analog circuits, sensors, and signals and systems courses.
